Water-injected Compressor ROMA Series

There is growing political and economic pressure on every single activity to minimize the environmental impact of its activities. It is the case that the Roma series of non-oil compressors does this with aplomb and pride. The environmental benefits are immediately reflected in substantial savings on the economic side.

Compression Technology

Compressors that belong to the ROMA range come with fewer moving parts than other brands of compressors, particularly two-stage dry compressors. Furthermore, they operate at low speeds, with a balanced load on bearings. This means they can are more durable in their service and less operating expenses. The highest temperature for flow is 60 degrees Celsius. This indicates compressions that are near to perfect compressions, also known as isothermal compressions. The ROMA range provides a number of advantages over conventional “oil-free” compression techniques. It requires the use of no oil, and there is no air/oil separator. Therefore it does not require motors for transmission, pumps, or oil filters. Furthermore, the single screw compression system with two satellites provides an even compression load, which prevents overstressing the bearings. The result is a more extended service life.
